West Cornwall: Winter Stroll

Description: This year's event includes a hike offered by the Cornwall Conservation Trust which meets at 2 p.m. in the Trinity parking area and which will explore the winter wildlife, who is sleeping and who is not.

Joe Brien is offering a young people’s workshop at the West Cornwall Library. Make A Rake, get ready for spring planting by hand-crafting a wooden rake you can use in your garden and flower box. Your new implement can also be used as a pasta server or back scratcher.

From 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Hughes Memorial Library (Lower River Road) there is a fun, free, family building activity from Lost Art Workshops.

Dabbie Labbe and her Llama Jack will be on the Wish House lawn for therapeutic mini strolls 2 p.m. and on.

There will be tasty stuff and refreshments at the various businesses. The 1812 House will have a sampling of their mail order offerings at the Wish House and some bubbly as well. Enjoy the Wish House Winter Clothing and Bag sale. Downstairs in the Souterrain Gallery Still, the Homegrown Band will perform. Also, in the gallery is currently featuring works by Cornwall artist Susan Hellmann’s Simply Cornwall.

Bain Real Estate is offering an insight into what is available in the Cornwall area and they will be having hot chocolate with water and restroom facilities.

A maple syrup sampling at Pearly's Farm House Café, Cornwall’s producers will be also showcasing their delectable sweet concoctions. There is something for everyone's taste buds.

The girls at Ian Ingersoll's are excited and will have refreshments for young and not so young.

Toll House has at this time various artists on display such as Don Bracken, Swede Ahrstrom, Scott Zuckerman and Susan Rand.
