Litchfield: Winter Walk

Description: We love traditions! Enjoy a sensory-filled walk to the observation platform overlooking Bantam Lake and the Ice House ruins. Listen to the music of Butternut Brook, be amazed by a huge oak, one of a number of notable trees residing within this beautiful 4,010-acre wildlife sanctuary. Red winterberry shrubs may hold the remains of their red jeweled-fruit so coveted by winter foraging birds. Natures silence is alive with surprise and restoration. Experience the sense of peace found when walking in beauty with a delightful community of nature loving people (and perhaps a dog or two).
