Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

Come to Downtown Manchester and enjoy these fun activities: •Chalk the Walk at Center Memorial Park – 10AM to 11:30AM at Center Memorial Park. All ages create chalk drawings on the park sidewalks (or use our stencils). Just for fun! Hosted by the Manchester Recreation Division. •Danny Magic – 10:30 AM to 11:30AM. A fun comedy magic show for kids and kids at heart. The Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St. •Pumpkin Decorating for Children – 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manchester Antiques Mall, 811 Main St. Sponsored by the Manchester Antiques Mall. •Safe Children’s Downtown Trick-or-Treat – 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM – Children visits Downtown businesses displaying a “Welcome Trick-or-Treaters” sign and receive assorted treats. Moms & More Club of West Hartford invites you to the 2019 Halloween Stroll! Join us for a morning of FREE trick-or-treating throughout West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square, and a live performance from locally loved children's band Sunny Train, thanks to sponsorship from West Hartford's Chick-Fil-A! We’re also thrilled to have Fun for All Foods - a West Hartford-based manufacturer of Top 8 Allergen Free foods - sponsor our Little Pumpkins Lot again this year! The Little Pumpkins area will be a designated allergy-friendly zone, meaning that vendors will only be giving away non-food items so that no kid feels left out of the Halloween fun. Description:
Come dressed in your Halloween costume with a pumpkin decorated or carved to look like your "FAVORITE BOOK CHARACTER." Pumpkins will be judged and prizes awarded. Enjoy stories and songs; visit the mad scientist in her laboratory and receive tricks or treats as you parade around the library. Come celebrate with South Church as we welcome the community to an afternoon of Halloween fun: craft activities and candy! Cars decorated for Halloween will line the parking lot.
