10:00am [10:30am] Bridgeport: GSK Science in the Summer
Calling all student scientists! What makes us each unique? What are some of the features we all share? Join the Discovery Museum for the Science of Me, brought to you by GSK and The Franklin Institute. We’ll learn about the systems that power our bodies, how we understand the world around us, and how we are all special even as we are all alike. Once we’ve learned about our body systems, we’ll celebrate the ways that we are all amazingly us! GSK Science in the Summer programs are completely free to participants! GSK Family Day will be held on August 22nd at the Discovery Museum from 5pm-8pm for all student participants and their families.

Kids will go on fun explorations of historical events and figures through storytelling, songs, and movement. Ages 2-5. More info: 203-869-6899

4:00pm [4:00pm] Windsor: Outer Space Escape Room
Work as a team with your friends to solve clues, master brainteasers, and unlock secret combinations to win the Summer Reading-themed event. Teens only. Pre-register: 860-285-1919

5:00pm [5:40pm] Danbury: Family Zumba
Bring the family to get some exercise with fun music and an instructor from the regional YMCA of Western Connecticut. Simple training for all levels in this interactive, fat-burning, cardio class. Ages 5 and up with an adult. More info: 203-797-4505, ext 7730
