The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[7:00pm] Middletown: Films on Foss - The Goonies
Description:
Connecticut's premier youth-led community event is back for 2019. The Goonies will be our third and final movie of the summer series and the free showing will begin at 8:30pm (or shortly after depending on the time of the sunset) but will be preceded by a community picnic that starts at 7:00pm with games and food trucks available. What is Films on Foss? The Mayoral Youth Cabinet in partnership with the City of Middletown and Wesleyan University is bringing back our wildly successful movie series called "Films on Foss". The students wanted to provide a FREE event were multiple generations could come together and build community and both the City of Middletown and Wesleyan stepped up to the plate to make this a reality. Just as the name states, the films are shown on campus at Foss Hill, just off Wyllys Ave (for GPS purposes you can enter 45 Wyllys Ave, Middletown, CT 06457). The Mayoral Youth Cabinet is a group of teens dedicated to improving their community and building youth voice. They serve as a bridge between city leaders and youth and are engaged in various empowerment projects in conjunction with Middletown Youth Services. A HUGE thank you to our lead sponsors, Middlesex United Way, Wesleyan University College of Film, and Eli Cannon's.
