10:00am [10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[11:00am] Danbury: Street Festival
A celebration of arts and innovation! Historic Main Street in downtown Danbury will be lined with a variety of vendors, selling their art or artisan made products. The local businesses will take over the sidewalks, delightful live entertainment will be going on, and people from greater Danbury and beyond will be sharing in the excitement of the day. Downtown will be the place to be on June 1.

[11:00am] Guilford: Opening Weekend - Celebrate 101 Years
Located just east of the Guilford Green, the Hyland House was built in 1713 and is an outstanding example of early Colonial architecture. Early inhabitants were Ebenezer Parmelee, a master carpenter and clockmaker, and Candace, a slave and part of Guilford's Witness Stones project to acknowledge the area's slave history. The Hyland House is fully furnished as if a family still lived there in the early Guilford Colonial-style with collections of furnishings and beds, quilts, many toys and dolls, kitchenware, tools and other interesting items and clothing, including whalebone corsets. For our 101st year celebrations, join us for special activities, house tours and "I Spy" Treasure Hunts.
