Description:
Bring the kids to Home Depot to complete a free wood craft project. Scheduled projects: April 7 - Window Birdhouse May 5 - Windmill Planter June 2 - Classic Car July 7 - Fishing Game August 4 - Bookworm Bookends September 1 - Field Goal Game October 5 - Fireboat November 3 - Helicopter November 24 - Gingerbread Man Ornament December 1 - Sled with Reindeer January 5 - Easel with Whiteboard All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.


[10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[10:00am] Hartford: Summer Backyard "Pool" Party
Description:
It’s cold outside, so escape the winter for a day and come warm up at our indoor backyard “pool” party! We’ll have games to play, summer tunes, a kiddie pool to “fish” in, and craft stations to make your own paper sunglasses and sand art. Families can also explore and play in our new exhibit Patios, Pools, & the Invention of the American Backyard. This drop-in program is free and open to the public, and great for children ages 4 and up.

Description:
Come learn how to make cool designs with perler beads- otherwise known as 'melty beads'. Drop in and create something to take home. This craft contains very small pieces. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent. No registration.

Description:
Shoreline Ringers, a community handbell choir based out of southeastern Connecticut, awes and inspires audiences with their ringing. This dynamic and energetic handbell choir is dedicated to musical excellence and handbell education through their exciting and uplifting performances. the repertoire performed by this inspirational handbell choir, is secular and popular in nature, and includes varying techniques and rhythms that promise pleasure and fun for all.
