Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

Skate for free 7-days-a-week at the Winterfest Hartford rink on the east side of Bushnell Park near the Pump House. [1:00pm] Manchester: Santa's Workshop
Description:
A free event sponsored by Wickham Park from December 13th through December 23rd. Children of all ages enjoy visits with Santa and his elves and refreshments with Mrs. Claus. Santa’s Workshop provides a chance for children to enjoy a non-commercialized Christmas experience. Guests are welcome to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to area food pantries. Hours are 3-6pm weekdays and 1-5pm on weekends. Come and create a new family tradition.

Description:
Santa will visit The Shops at Yale and read stories to children and take photos with families from 1:00-3:00pm. Free and open to the public. Charles Dickens' 1867 American reading tour is off to a rough start. After losing his luggage, he announces that he can't read from A Christmas Carol. However, he performs the story from memory. Description:
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Holiday Season with the annual Torchlight Parade & Carol Sing, beginning at 5:30pm. The Torchlight Parade will go down Main Street, stepping off from the EW Middle School and concluding with a variety of activities at the Broad Brook Fire House after the parade. Come and enjoy hay rides, carols, arts & crafts and even a visit from Santa himself. Hot cocoa will be served and raffle tickets will be sold during the event. Please bring a non-perishable food item to benefit Five Corner Cupboard and the Power Pack Program.
