Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

Description:
Celebrate “Peace on Earth” during the holidays this year and experience one of the largest gingerbread house festivals in New England. Be filled with wonder and be touched by peace as you gaze upon row after row of creative and colorful gingerbread creations, all created by regional artisans and bakers, students and community members, expert and beginner alike. The Wood, located on historic Old Main Street, provides the perfect holiday venue for showcasing the sugary artistic creations among sparkling lights and colorful decor. Musical performances, story time and craft events, even visits from Santa will be scattered throughout the festival providing patrons with an uplifting, peaceful and creative break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Finally, don’t forget to stop by “Ye Olde Gingerbread Shoppe” for the opportunity to take home a bit of the magic with many holiday themed gifts and treats.

Description:
Highlights of the festival include a Roaming Railroad choo-choo train ride, a hay ride, more than 70 vendors selling handcrafted items just in time for holiday shopping, and a 5K Road Race on Saturday morning sponsored by the First Mile Race Management Company. Plus a multitude of delicious food choices to make everyone’s visit complete. The Festival surrounds Bethlehem’s town green, at the junction of Route 61 and Route 132. All the buildings and churches participating in the festival are brimming with activities and Christmas spirit. On Friday night at 6 p.m. is the opening ceremony, where a “surprise” celebrity guest will help Santa light the town’s beautiful 75-foot Christmas tree. Santa will stay for the balance of the festival, giving families the opportunity to take their own memorable photos. Free parking at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds, just north of town on Route 61, Free shuttle busses between the fairgrounds and the festival, Free festival admission, Free face paining and Free a crafts workshop for children and their parents.
