  Old Saybrook: Fairy Doors Scavenger Hunt

10:00am [10:00am] Stamford: Arts & Crafts on Bedford
Shop at over 100 craft and artisan boutiques along the street, which will be closed to traffic. Hands-on activities for kids, including farm animals, chalk the walk, face painting, crafts, and more.

[10:00am] Trumbull: Arts Festival
Fine hand crafted items including felted wool, jewelry, pottery and children’s accessories are among the works that will be for sale on the historic Town Hall Green. The juried show features more than 50 artists and crafters. Hundreds of pieces of fine artwork, photography and sculpture in various media will also be for sale. Area authors will be on the Green, with their all their books. The Festival also features a Children’s Creative Center with free activities for children ages 3 and up. Day long entertainment includes "Smile Awhile", at 11:30 a.m. " The Red Hots" take the stage at 1 p.m., followed by a performance by Fairfield Center Stage. Closing out the entertainment is the" Frank Porto Band" at 3 p.m.

[12:00pm] Storrs: Celebrate Mansfield Festival
The Mansfield Downtown Partnership invites everyone to gather at the 15th annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival for music, food, and fun. The excitement begins with the Celebrate Mansfield Parade, which will lead the way from the Storrs Post Office to Betsy Paterson Square at noon. Visitors will enjoy free, hands-on activities at more than 100 booths hosted by local community groups, Mansfield businesses, and UConn programs and departments. There will be live music on Paterson Square, a children’s stage, cooking demonstrations by chefs from UConn Dining Services, and much more.

[1:00pm] Glastonbury: Annual Farm Day
This fun-filled day includes historic demonstrations, including weaving, colonial crafts, games featuring sack races, bobbing for apples, a scavenger hunt, a petting zoo, and much more. More info: 860-633-6890
