10:00am [10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[10:00am] Madison: Butterfly Walk
Description:
Led by members of the Connecticut Butterfly Association, this walk will focus on the open fields. Wear clothing and shoes to protect you from poison ivy and ticks. Sunscreen and water recommended. Children must be with an adult. More info: 203-245-5623

Description:
Learn robotics and programming with Ozobots. These fun little robots are capable of doing amazing things. Kids learn the concept of programming by using Ozocodes, where color codes control the behavior of the robot. Ages 5-8. More info: 203-622-7940

Description:
Saturday, July 28th is CPTV Kids Day at Lyman Orchards’ Sunflower Maze in Middlefield, CT. (Rain Date – July 29th) Come meet PBS Kids’ biggest star, Daniel Tiger, making appearances throughout the day at the Apple Barrel, starting at 11am until 4pm Enjoy lots of fun activities for the whole family!

[3:00pm] New Canaan: Complete Works of William Shakespeare
Description:
Experience all 37 of Shakespeare's Plays in a little over an hour! Show performed without intermission with professional cast of performers. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was London’s longest-running comedy having clocked a very palpable nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre! Join these madcap men in tights as they weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories and Tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. Recommended for all ages 7+ Free Admission, but tickets required. Tickets can be reserved online. Also remaining tickets will be distributed 40 minutes before curtain. Admittance only with ticket reserved online or distributed prior to performance. Park opens for seating 30 minutes prior to performance start. Bring your lawn chairs (high and low), blankets and picnic. Performances are outdoors, downtown New Canaan in the New Canaan Library's Christine’s Garden. (Located at South Ave. & Maple St.)
