10:00am [10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[11:00am] Greenwich: Robotics Workshop
Challenges are used that prepare you for competition or just for simple fun. Use critical thinking and apply it to the design and coding process. Come and be a Robotics Designer and Engineer for the day. No experience necessary. Ages 9-12. More info: 203-622-7940

[3:00pm] New Canaan: Complete Works of William Shakespeare
Experience all 37 of Shakespeare's Plays in a little over an hour! Show performed without intermission with professional cast of performers. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was London’s longest-running comedy having clocked a very palpable nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre! Join these madcap men in tights as they weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories and Tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. Recommended for all ages 7+ Free Admission, but tickets required. Tickets can be reserved online. Also remaining tickets will be distributed 40 minutes before curtain. Admittance only with ticket reserved online or distributed prior to performance. Park opens for seating 30 minutes prior to performance start. Bring your lawn chairs (high and low), blankets and picnic. Performances are outdoors, downtown New Canaan in the New Canaan Library's Christine’s Garden. (Located at South Ave. & Maple St.)

6:00pm [6:00pm] Putnam: Concert and River Fire
Enjoy a family-friendly community concert featuring a different band at each of the three River Fire each summer. At dusk, the fire pots are lit in the Quinebaug River with mood setting music provided by northeast Connecticut's local community radio station, WINY Radio. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Dancing, cheering and smiles are encouraged. 2018 dates are: Saturdays - July 21, August 11, September 8

[7:00pm] East Hartford: River Summer Pops
During The Best of Broadway, you'll listen to the 50-piece Middletown Symphonic Band perform famous musical arrangements from Broadway. Sing and dance along to the classics and contemporary hits. More info: 860-713-3131
