Description:
The Rose Arts Festival is a free, family friendly, all day event over multiple locations. Known as The Rose of New England, Norwich offers multiple walkable attractions, and the Rose Arts Festival encourages visitors to map out their own unique path through the city on Rose Arts day. Activities include Pancake Breakfast, Fun Run, 5K and 10K road races, food trucks, live music, artisan vendors, Creative Station, Rose Bud Parade, culinary competition, flower arranging competition, art competition, budding artist display, performing arts stage, and more! The Festival activities are centered around the Chelsea Parade area of the city by day and move to the Historic Downtown area by night. Night Activities include live music, performing arts, art exhibitions, children's and teen events and more.




[10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Description:
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required just come ready to tinker, play and create!

Description:
Chalk and refreshments will be provided to all sidewalk artists. Prizes will be awarded by age categories (youth, teens, adults). Sidewalk space must be reserved by calling the Library.

Description:

[1:00pm] Coventry: Summer on the Farm Tour
Description:
The Peracchio family is proud to host a tour of their scenic hilltop farm. Visitors will enjoy learning about how cows are cared for, what cows eat, how they are milked, and dairy nutrition. Take in the view overlooking the lush green fields and rolling hills that grow nearly 400 acres of crops to feed the cows. Kids can even try hand milking "Daphne" the model milking cow. Enjoy complimentary ice cream, refreshing summer beverages, and sample the latest flavor limited edition milk. Free family fun for all ages and no reservation is required. Please, no pets and no strollers. Rain or shine unless extreme weather.

Description:
Come and experience the 2018 Hebron fireworks. This year there will be so much more than fireworks, so bring your family and enjoy the entire day guaranteeing your night to end with a BANG! Activities include a car show, vendor fair, children's activities, live music, Touch A Truck and ending the day with a display of fireworks.
