Description:
Spring Outdoors runs from the Spring Equinox on March 20 until the Summer Solstice on June 21. This program connects you to lands, waters, and trails in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor, including some properties not normally accessible to the public. Enjoy interesting features and stories during Spring Outdoors, which is like the Walktober program, but is held as nature springs forth in The Last Green Valley. All the walks, bike rides, paddles, tours, events and more will be listed on our website's Spring Outdoors page and on our facebook page.

Description:
Come and build with us! We have Duplo blocks for younger kids and regular LEGO® bricks for older kids! For kids ages 2 and up and their caregivers. No registration required.

[3:30pm] Portland: Peeps Dioramas
Description:
Grades 6 and up. Create a Peeps diorama based on your favorite book or movie. We will have a variety of supplies available, but you can bring your own as well. Please bring your own shoe box and we will provide the Peeps. Finished dioramas will be displayed at the library for library patrons to vote on their favorite. The winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. Space is limited. Registration is required and begins on February 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Description:
Girls, take hold of your future TODAY! Learn the valuable skillset of “code” aka computer programming with this special workshop introducing girls to this ever-growing technology field. Explore HTML coding and an introductory version of Python and learn how to extend the application of these skills on your own. This will be a FUN experience facilitated by Patrice Gans, Founder and Executive Director of Random Hacks of Kindness, Jr. No coding experience is necessary to attend. Come learn to code and meet some new friends in the process! FREE. Ages 10 – 18. Registration is Required.
