  [All day event] Various Locations: Spring Outdoors
Spring Outdoors runs from the Spring Equinox on March 20 until the Summer Solstice on June 21. This program connects you to lands, waters, and trails in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor, including some properties not normally accessible to the public. Enjoy interesting features and stories during Spring Outdoors, which is like the Walktober program, but is held as nature springs forth in The Last Green Valley. All the walks, bike rides, paddles, tours, events and more will be listed on our website's Spring Outdoors page and on our facebook page.

9:00am [9:30am] Wallingford: Story Walk
Mrs. Stowe will lead the walk to find hidden pages from a book along a trail through the woods. Learn about nature along the way. Ages 3-5. 2 sessions: 9:30-10:30 and 1:30-2:30 Pre-register: 203-284-6436

10:00am [10:00am] Rocky Hill: Family Make It, Take It
Families can come in anytime the library is open and make a craft together. Stop by the Children's desk for the supplies and complete your project in our Program Room. For families with children ages 3 and up. No registration required.

[2:00pm] Windsor: Emoji Party
Watch The Emoji Movie and make emoji-themed crafts, including buttons and pillows. All ages. Pre-register: 860-285-1918

[3:30pm] East Hartford: LEGO Junior Makers Family Build
Come and build with us! We have Duplo blocks for younger kids and regular LEGOŽ bricks for older kids! For kids ages 2 and up and their caregivers. No registration required.

[4:00pm] Guilford: Blossom Shoppe
Colorful twin sisters Poppy and Posie show their neighbors the wonder of flowers as they turn their whole town from gray to a rainbow wonderland. The authors tell the story of their book through music and interactive storytelling. Kids will do a craft. Ages 3-8. Pre-register: 203-453-8282
