Description:
Spring Outdoors runs from the Spring Equinox on March 20 until the Summer Solstice on June 21. This program connects you to lands, waters, and trails in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor, including some properties not normally accessible to the public. Enjoy interesting features and stories during Spring Outdoors, which is like the Walktober program, but is held as nature springs forth in The Last Green Valley. All the walks, bike rides, paddles, tours, events and more will be listed on our website's Spring Outdoors page and on our facebook page.

9:00am [9:00am] South Windsor: Egg Hunt
Description:
Sponsored by Imperial Oil & Plumbing and the South Windsor Parks & Recreation Department. Come enjoy this FREE fun-filled family event on Friday, 3/30, at the SWHS stadium. Children will "hunt" for plastic filled eggs, meet the spring bunny and enjoy a hot drink or snack sold for a fundraiser. In conjunction with the Egg Hunt, the SW Community Women's Club will sponsor the Kids' Fair at the High School from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Kids Fair includes games, prizes and fun for the entire family. For families that might find the egg hunt experience overwhelming for their children with special needs, we have arranged for a hunt at 9:00 a.m. before the crowds arrive. Please bring a non-perishable food item that can be donated to the South Windsor Food & Fuel Bank. A special thanks to Imperial Oil & Plumbing Company, Inc., for once again making this year's Egg Hunt possible with their generous donation.
