10:00am [10:00am] Branford: Mini-Maker Table
Join us every Friday and Saturday for a mini-maker project from our MakerLab! Every month we will feature a quick project or new piece of equipment to mess around with. The results may have you leaving with something to physically take home OR just the satisfaction that you were able to create a circuit, power on an Arduino or thread a sewing machine. The projects are easy, meant for all ages and 100% drop-in. It is just up to you to find out which floor we are featuring the project on and drop on by. Registration for this table is not required – just come ready to tinker, play and create!

[10:00am] Glastonbury: Together Time Tales
Everyone is invited to put down the technology and fully participate in this family-oriented storytime that is fun for young and old. A simple craft will follow each themed storytime. Together Time Tales is offered the third Saturday of the month through May 2018. No registration is needed.

[10:00am] Norwich: O'tis a Festival
Join us as Otis Library transforms into a two-floor holiday shopping plaza with a vast variety of handmade items and all-day entertainment. The festival is a wonderful community event that brings back the days of a bustling downtown. Celebrity parkers will line the street to welcome you and direct you to free nearby parking. Shop a variety of beautiful handmade items, take a chance on winning a wreath, a unique gift made by one of our vendors, or one of the beautiful baskets in our raffle, and enjoy the singing, dancing, crafts and activities taking place throughout the day. It’s a day full of fun for all ages!

[10:00am] Union: Holly Day Fair
Step into a winter wonderland filled with many new local crafters and vendors. Enjoy the sweet smells of chocolate and spices, and hear familiar Christmas tunes while you eat lunch in the holiday café. Take part in the silent auction and raffles; purchase some gourmet caramel apples or homemade mixes, they even have freshly made wreaths, swags and so much more. Even the kids will love the Christmas activities which will include an ice-fishing game, new crafts and game and cupcake decorating. There is even opportunity to have a photo taken with Santa and his elves in Santa’s workshop. Door prize drawing every half hour.

Enjoy a movie with family and friends. Bring your own snacks.

[11:00am] Waterbury: Barnes & Noble Storytime
Storytime perfect for the whole family! Enjoy a new story every Saturday with fun crafts and activities to follow! **Check website for specific story**

[2:00pm] Canterbury: Visit From Santa and Mrs. Claus
Grab your camera and come by to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They want to hear your Christmas wish list and have their picture taken with you. The November timing makes it early enough in the season to allow you to feature that photo on your family’s Christmas cards. Free and open to the public, children of all ages are welcome, including those who are only young at heart however, those young in years need to be accompanied by an adult. Please know that this photo opportunity isn't strictly for children. Everyone's welcome to join us for some yummy cookies and the Clauses, all while enjoying the restored 19th century one-room schoolhouse decked out in holiday finery.
